Résumé : | Approximately 40% of melanoma patients reach the stage of generalization and should be treated by chemotherapy. The authors refer mainly to the work of Luce and Comis. It was found that among a large number of drugs the majority of combinations with dimethyl triazeno imidazole carboxamide (DTIC) give no better results than DTIC alone, whose application may be regarded as the standard treatment. Some of the combinations should be subjected to a more detailed study. Immunochemotherapeutic treatment should be tried in 'minimal residual disease' patients. (Kogoj - Zagreb) |
