Résumé : CAT is an aid defining both the external geometry of the patient and in positioning the various internal organs (lungs), spinal cord and target volume. The introduction of differential densities makes information processing simpler in comparison to the results of transverse radiographs. However, the benefit to delivered dose evaluation is low (approximately 5%).
