Résumé : The pathogenesis of allergic contact dermatitis, a cutaneous reaction of delayed hypersensitivity, can be divided into 3 stages, corresponding to the informed lymphocyte, the sensitized lymphocyte and the activated lymphocyte. The macrophage plays a primordial role in each of these stages, since it is in close collaboration with the lymphocyte.
