Résumé : | Thirty patients hospitalized with acute or chronic urinary infection were treated with 2 g of cefoperazone b.i.d. intramuscularly for at least 5 days. Upon completion of therapy, the infection had been eradicated in all patients. A follow-up examination one month later with no treatment showed that infection was present in 9 cases, and that 3 more patients had had a relapse; in every case, there were concomitant diseases or abnormalities of the genitourinary tract. |
