Résumé : Kelfiprim once daily (sulfamethopyrazine 400 mg + trimethoprim 480 mg, total daily dose) were administered respectively to 18 and 19 patients with acute urinary tract infections and severe underlying diseases. There was no statistically significant difference in response between the two study groups; tolerance to both regimens was satisfactory. The response rate was similar whether the infection consisted of clear-cut cystitis or pyelonephritis and whether or not antibody-coating was found on the causative pathogens.
