Résumé :

In normal man, synthetic linear somatostatin (growth hormone release inhibiting hormone) inhibits the growth hormone response to insulin induced hypoglycemia, but has no influence on plasma levels of cortisol, prolactin, thyrotropin and follicle stimulating hormone.
