Résumé : The degree of platelet MAO inhibition may be useful as a biological peripheral marker to distinguish responders from nonresponders in MAO-B inhibitor therapy. Furthermore, the good tolerance and the absence of 'cheese effect' observed with L-deprenyl is of great interest for the pharmacological treatment of depressive illness.
