Résumé : | SiO//2-Al//2O//3-MgO-(TiO//2)-system glasses and glass ceramics were produced far below the melting point in a sol-gel process. The employed method made it possible to obtain thin films on substrates, as exemplified by sintered Al//2O//3 bodies coated with a magnesium-aluminosilicate glass ceramic. In the subject process, crystallization of the glasses occurs via the formation of Ti(III)-containing primary crystalline phases that may correspond to those of the anosovite type in massive materials. |
