Résumé : Three patients who presented 2 cancers of the lungs are reported. There was an interval of at least 5 yr between the 2 tumors. In 2, the second carcinoma occurred in the opposite lung. The criteria for distinguishing 2 different primary tumors are discussed. A patient who appears cured of a resected lung cancer, may develop a second lung cancer and should be followed up.
