| Résumé : | The statistical calculation of the surface tension of solutions containing two sorts of molecules, one occupying r sites and the other one site, has been carried out for a simplified model in which only configurations of the molecules parallel to the surface are taken into account. For this model, it is possible to deduce very simple explicit formulas, which are used for a qualitative discussion of the surface tension of polymer solutions. © 1952. |
