Résumé : We briefly review in a general context the theory of non-unitary transformations between conservative dynamics with internal time and dissipative evolutions, developed previously in the context of statistical mechanics and apply the results to show the existence of a similarity transformation between the wave equation and the dissipative telegraphist equation. © 1991 IOP Publishing Ltd.
