Résumé : | The vibrating quadrupole of CH4 interacting with the polarizability of the perturber is proposed as another collision-induced dipole mechanism. This mechanism would be present for absorption in the v2 region. For demonstration purposes, the simplest case of CH4-Ar is considered. |
