| Résumé : | This paper reviews energy consumption, the figures for which were obtained by an inquiry covering almost all Belgian factories, and discusses the consumption according to the different forms of energy, the type of product, and the processes used: specific energy consumptions are also given. Furnaces are given particular attention and typical heat balances are presented. |
