| Résumé : | The author points out the difficulties presented by the ordinary method for finding the minimum of entropy creation, especially when the phenomenological coefficients cannot be considered as mere constants, being functions of state. An application is made of a general method for finding the minimum, presented previously 1), and this confirms I. Prigogine's prevision according to which the minimum of entropy creation does correspond to the steady state of the system under consideration. © 1953. |
