Résumé : | The symmetry of the matrix describing the rate equations for Berry intramolecular rearrangements is studied. It is shown that this matrix is invariant with respect to any element of a cyclic group of order ten which has been defined previously [9]. This property is used to obtain the relaxation times, the chemical normal modes and the solution of the rate equations corresponding to Berry processes. Other possible applications are announced. © 1971 Springer-Verlag. |
