Résumé : | An unusual case of a cold abscess arising from the corrosion of a Sherman plate 48 years after implantation in a humerus is reported. Examination by microscope and electronic micro sound revealed the presence of vivianite, gueutite and siderite. There was also a lamellar structure which seemed to include a different compound of hydroxyapatite. |
