Résumé : | A simplified assessment of the motor functions of vascular hemiplegics can be based on 12 movements in the proximal, middle and distal segments of the upper and lower limbs. Following a study of their development, the valuations given for these movements have been adjusted; added and averaged, they give an index of the motor function of the affected side. This index not only helps us to appreciate the overall improvement in motor function in any given patient; it also allows comparisons between different patients and establishes a relationship between the clinical findings and measurements given by other paraclinical techniques. |
