| Résumé : | 120 patients with keloids were treated in our department by surgical excision followed by postoperative radiotherapy. The results were evaluated after more than one year follow-up. Good and excellent results were observed in 83% of the patients. However, a recurrence was observed within 5 months after treatment in all patients who received less than 1,200 R. We conclude that excision followed by radiotherapy is an effective treatment for keloids. © 1992 Springer-Verlag. |
