Résumé : To catch progressive pulmonary alterations, whose speed of variation is unknown, an instantaneous and continuous display of compliance and resistance might be useful. The Auprem gives a permanent digital read out of elastance (inverse of compliance) and of resistance. It also allows a continuous recording of these results as more or less chequered lines. Some clinical experience is reported.
