Résumé : Monodisperse selenium sols with particle diameters ranging from approximately 40 to 500 mμ were prepared and their particle size distribution was analyzed by comparing the experimental spectra with theoretical curves computed by means of the Mie equations, assuming a normal distribution function. Good agreement was found with the results obtained by means of an ultramicroscopic counting technique and by electron microscopy. © 1968.
