Résumé : Two case histories of infants with a diencephalic syndrome resulting from optic nerve glioma are presented. In both patients an intensive midline suprasellar tracer uptake was present shortly after the clinical condition was noted. After discussing the brain scan findings in older children with similar gliomas, it was suggested that this innocuous procedure could be of great value as an early diagnostic measure in infants with this syndrome.
