Résumé : Thermodynamic data (ΔG°, ΔH° and ΔS°) of an amino group attached to a cyclohexane ring have been obtained, using a modification of Eliel's method, based on variable temperature NMR. a discrepancy was observed between the data concerning cyclohexylamine itself ("direct" method), and that obtained via cis-4-methylcyclohexylamine "direct]rd method, based on the assumption of additivity of the thermodynamic parameters of amino and methyl groups). The origin of this situation has been discussed in terms of adequacy of the conformational standards used. The solvent effect on the shift of a tertiary has been studied, for different cyclohexylamines and 2-decalylamines, with fixed conformations. © 1968.
