Résumé : | The dissociation energy of PO(g), D°0(PO) = 593.0 ± 8 kJ mol-1 has been measured thermochemically. This result supports the value for D°0(PO) obtained from the predissociation in the D′2Π state of PO, D°0(PO) ≤ 593 kJ mol-1 and strongly suggests that this predissociation is an exact one. The atomization energy of PO2(g), has been determined to be D°0(PO2) = 1086.2 ± 11 kJ mol-1 and is shown to be consistent with spectroscopic data for this molecule. |
