Résumé : Survival of bone sarcoma patients has markedly improved during the last 20 years. This was followed by a new trend toward limb-sparing procedures instead of amputations. This article will review the current preoperative approach, the biopsy techniques, the surgical treatments in different anatomical locations and their indications as well as the results in osteogenic sarcoma patients treated at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, New York, U.S.A.
