Résumé : | The amplitude modulation of electron-acoustic waves (EAW) propagating in space plasmas whose constituents are inertial cold electrons was studied. It was shown that the conditions for the modulational instability depend on the angle between the EAW propagation and modulation directions, allowing for the modulation to occur in an oblique manner. The possibility for the formation of localized structures in two-electron system was analyzed. It was concluded that the qualitative aspects of the observed envelope solitary structures are recovered from simple fluid model. |
