Résumé : A new representation of continuous-time systems under digital controls in state-space form within the lifting framework is introduced. The main goal of this representation is the full characterization of sampled-data systems from an internal point of view as opposed to the input/output behavior. Following this, two notions of internal stability are introduced primarily in order to investigate the basic issues of stability. It is emphasized that an unstable continuous-time system cannot be given a uniform decay rate with digital controls.
