| Résumé : | A kinetic equation for the density matrix of a monomode laser with explicit coupling with a thermal reservoir representing the cavity and a nonthermal one representing the pumping mechanism is derived. The macroscopic behavior of this system, inferred from Glauber's P function, is discussed within the framework of Glansdorff-Prigogine's theory of far-from-thermal-equilibrium open systems. © 1976 Plenum Publishing Corporation. |
