| Résumé : | An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was developed for the determination, in picomole quantities, of quassinoids in Ailanthus altissima plant tissues and cultivated cells. Antiserurn was raised in rabbits using a modified ailanthone-thyroglobuline porcine conjugate as immunogen. The described antiserum was very suitable for the determination of a range of quassinoids structurally related to ailanthone. Studies on the somaclonal variation in the quassinoid-producing capability of culture strains of A. altissima was investigated. © 1990. |
