| Résumé : | Metallurgical coal gasification processes, for hydrogen production are discussed: liquid-iron bath gasification and blast furnace transformation into synthesis gas generator. Hydropyrolysis of coal with subsequent char gasification, is a third way of coal chemical valorisation. Gasification in metallurgical reactors pleads for locating coal gasification in the iron and steel industry. Combined coal gasification-steel making offers possibilities of optimal valorisation of the different gas and heat streams. © 1987. |
