| Résumé : | Preference modelling often uses concents such as preorders, semiorders and interval orders and, in most cases, it is assumed that the relations are comolete (no incomparability). However, incomparabilities naturally appear in many decision problems, as for example, in multicriteria problems. That is the reason why the study of partial relations becomes more and more important.
