Résumé :

The Departments of Public Law and International Law of the Université Libre de Bruxelles organized this colloquium dealing with recognition of the status of political refugees and the granting of asylum. A decade after the beginning of what is commonly called the 'asylum crisis', it was an opportunity for the participants to take stock of these two important questions in refugee law. This paper reviews, first, the situation regarding European practice; the second part focuses specifically on Belgian practice. © 1990 Oxford University Press.
