Résumé : This article focuses on university-level examinations, especially oral ones. At the situational level of the social phenomena studied, they amount to a face-to-face encounter between examinee and examiner - in what is known as a "docimological" relationship, based primarily on speech acts, which do not consist in the mere restitution of a "subject matter" by the examinee to the examiner, who may have taught it. Components of ritualization, as well as the possibility of psychological transfer and counter-transfer, must also be taken into account.
