| Résumé : | The career of Henri Tagnon, medical doctor of the " Université libre de Bruxelles ", is devoted to medical oncology. Trained in the United States, he accomplished a brilliant career in the United States before coming back to Brussels where he created, in 1953, the first medical oncology department in Belgium at the Institut Bordet, cancer center of the Université libre de Bruxelles. He was the initiator of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer. |
