Résumé : Our understanding of developmental dyscalculia has significantly improved during last decades. However, some children were sometimes erroneously classified as dyscalculic. Here, we recall the criteria to classify a child as dyscalculic and review the characteristics of the some standardized batteries as well as their weaknesses. We stress the need to correctly interpret the results obtained in these tests. Finally, different potential precursors of developmental dyscalculia are proposed with regard to current research. © copyright Anae.
