Résumé :

I show, on a simple example, that the two approaches lead to exactly the same density operator for the whole spin system, with the same equations of motion for the matrix elements (ignoring relaxation and diffusion). Hence, the two approaches are equivalent in all respects. © 2000 American Institute of Physics.
