Résumé : A new triterpenoid sapogenin was isolated and found to be 3β,20ξ-dihydroxy-23ξ-acetoxylanost-9(11)-ene-18-carboxylic acid lactone (18 → 20) (5). The functionality at C-23 is unprecedented in sapogenins from the sea cucumber.
