Résumé : The deposition of SnO//2 films has been extensively investigated since the 1960 years in order to make transparent and conducting coatings on glass. The deposition techniques, the physical characteristics of the films and their uses are first briefly reviewed. The present paper deals mainly with the deposition of thick films on ceramic substrates. The relevant investigations are aimed at producing conducting materials for high-temperature applications. The Sb-doped films are obtained by spray-deposition at about 500 degree C. In these conditions, the films are dense and strongly oriented.
