Résumé : The embryonic sac has been measured and its dimensions compared with normal measurements in cases where symptoms suggest threatened abortion. This has been done with the object of trying to complete visual exploration of the uterine contents in such cases. The distribution of the diameters that have been measured in 148 pathological cases show that the number of those below the lower limit of normal is significantly higher when pregnancy will result in abortion or in premature labor.
