Résumé : Using statistical data, the evolution of occupational dermatoses during the past decade is analyzed. Through the profound changes of legislation with regard to the subject, the progressive transformations of mentality are considered which have led to compensation as well as to prevention of occupational dermatoses. Precise economic aspects are cited, viz. with regard to reclassification obtained for some construction workers. Changes in the very concept of occupational dermatoses are outlined, taking into account epidemiologic, economic and social considerations.
