Résumé : A METHOD for the in vivo determination of the rate of exchange of phosphate in red blood cells by means of the s32P coefficient has already been described. This coefficient measures the outflow of phosphorus-32 from circulating labelled red blood cells1. It has been shown that s 32P represents the turnover-rate of acid-soluble phosphate in the red blood cell2. © 1959 Nature Publishing Group.
