Résumé : | A numerical study of the relativistic motion of a representative Jüttner distribution of 104 electrons in a configuration consisting of two circularly polarized electromagnetic waves counterpropagating along a constant magnetic field is presented. A high average parallel velocity distribution peaked at high velocities was found, indicating the possibility of generating currents of low collisionality. © 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. |
