Résumé : We consider two minimalist models allowing self-consistent analyses of contact-line microstructures starting abruptly on a macroscopically bare solid surface, within a continuum hydrodynamics framework without any slip length nor extended precursor film. The motion- and/or evaporation-induced apparent contact angles are discussed. One model, inspired by de Gennes and collaborators, invokes the disjoining pressure, while the other manages without this concept but requires the Kelvin effect and a pure-vapour atmosphere.
