Résumé : | Cutaneous reactions to chemotherapy are very common in clinical practice and may contribute significantly to the morbidity of cancer patients. Therefore, recognition and management of these side effects is important to provide optimal care. Chemotherapy-related cutaneous toxicity includes generalized rashes as well as site specific toxicity such as mucositis, nail changes or for example hand-foot syndrome. Most of these toxic effects are reversible with delay or dose reductions of chemotherapy. Newer anticancer targeted therapies may also be associated with cutaneous toxicity. In this chapter we would like to give an overview of the most common cutaneous side effects of classical chemotherapy as well as the new monoclonal antibodies and tyrosine kinase inhibitors. © 2012 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
