Résumé : | Research shows that the higher the level of academic positions at universities the lower the percentage of women among employees also applies at Danish universities. This may be due to a historical backlog or merely to a ’leaky pipeline’, as earlier studies have revealed that an increasing proportion of women among university graduates has not resulted in an increasing proportion of women among university academics. This study based on data from Aalborg University documents by the use of longitudinal analyses that the ‘pipeline’ leaks women at the very first steps of the career ladder. |
