Résumé : This article focuses on the study of the sanctuaries Ayauhcalli (Mist Houses) in the liturgy of the solar year of the ancient Nahuas. It attempts to provide a comprehensive view of all data contained in the written and pictorial sources of the sixteenth century, as well as deciphering the liturgical role of these places of worship through a reconstruction of its spaces and functions. The second purpose of the paper suggests a comparison between the liturgy of the veintenas of Etzalcualiztli and Huey Tecuílhuitl, two festivals in which the Mist Houses played a significant role.
