| Résumé : | In the era of internet, and the multiplication of social networks invading our daily lives, the team at the Articial Reproductive Technologies (ART) Center at the Saint-Pierre Hospital in Brussels felt an obligation to integrate and make available the latest technology for its patient on-boarding. This article describes the process that led to an innovating project: the creation of an interactive online forum. From design to launch, the entire process of adapting the concept of "discussion group" to the specific context of ART and new technologies is explained in detail. Our objective is to offer patients of the center the ability to communicate and exchange at any time, from anywhere, and most importantly, totally anonymously. We'll detail further all the steps that were necessary to implement this ambitious project. Today, eighteen months after its launch, over 150 patients have registered, and use the forum regularly to share their experiences around their ART journey. |
