Résumé : The fraction of the cytoplasmic ribonucleic acid which does not sediment in one hour at 60, 000 g, is bound to proteins by stable bonds, which are analogous to those existing in the ribonucleoproteic granules (mitochondria, microsomes). These bonds are not ruptured for values of pH and ionic strength which are beyond those existing in the normal cytoplasm. The nucleoproteins studied seem to be of two distinct types. © 1950.
