Résumé : Like uracil, uridine forms a condensed monolayer at the mercury electrode. It is shown that the kinetics of condensation are controlled by a nucleation and growth mechanism. At sufficiently high supersaturation, the charge transients are analyzed according to the Avrami equations and the Classical Nucleation Theory. The parameters involved, such as the supersaturation and the line tension, are compared for the two surfactants. © 1990.
