Résumé : Body area networks consist of a number of biological sensors communicating over the air with a central sink placed in close proximity of the human body. A promising solution is to use multisensor multiantenna ultrawideband architecture; each sensor carries one antenna, while the central sink supports an antenna array. In this paper, a complete analytical channel model has been developed for the on-body diffracted waves mechanism. It builds on the existing IEEE 802.15.4a standard channel model and offers an innovative space-time correlation model.
