Résumé : Montroll's approach to diffusion-controlled annihilation reactions between interacting walkers in lattices was studied using complex kinetics and many-body effects. The mean walklength to reaction and spatial organization of reactants in a finite planar lattice was analytically evaluated. Monte Carlo simulations were used in single autocatalytic reaction and an isomerization coupled autocatalytic reaction. The results were found to be qualitative in accordance with mean-field predictions for the first case while those for the later case indicated a marked deviation from the mean-field behavior.
